Our Gratitude for 2019 and Looking Forward to 2020
We are so excited to succeed with you in 2020 — the start of a new year and decade brings us an opportunity to set goals and reflect on the achievements of 2019.
We are asking our partners what they are excited about, for the new decade. The answers are totally inspiring. We cannot wait to help them achieve their goals, keep their communities safe and informed, and increase their ROI.
We at Regroup think reflection is a great way to see how well businesses and technologies are serving us and our clients well. What did you enjoy this year? What is your team celebrating as it looks back on 2019?
For us, it was an award-winning year. We were so honored and appreciative to win several awards this year, including the Platinum “ASTORS” Homeland Security Award from American Security Today and the 2019 Secure Campus Award. Our AlertMe mobile application was named a Superstar winner by the Mobile Star Awards, and we were recognized as a Weather-Ready Nation (WRN) Ambassador by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
We are excited to announce the first annual Regroup Ready Award, to be announced in January 2020. We want to reward and acknowledge Regroup users who have kept their communities safe and informed in extraordinary ways. We have already heard some amazing success stories! Most importantly in 2019, we were able to serve clients in unexpected ways. The nature of mass notifications, used for emergencies and day-to-day communications, means it will always be unexpected. But here is a tiny sample of what we were able to do:
- Protected a campus from a potential gunman
- Helped close down about 150 schools in Colorado following a credible threat issued by the FBI
- Guided and educated clients about workplace violence
- Served communities and organizations that needed to evacuate due to dangerous weather, including floods and wildfires
- During The Great ShakeOut 2019 drill more than 1.1 million early earthquake warning alerts — email, SMS and calls — were successfully delivered by clients that used Regroup.
We were also delighted to see so many of our friends and clients at events around the country, all year long. We were present at a half-dozen trade shows nationwide, and look forward to many more in 2020.
