Dais, Inc., a Delaware corporation, dba Regroup (“Regroup” or “we”) respects your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”). Regroup is an information messaging service that allows MembersDais, Inc., a Delaware corporation, dba Regroup (“Regroup,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Platform Privacy Policy (this “Privacy Policy”). Regroup provides a cloud-based mass notification and information-messaging platform (the “Regroup Platform” or “Platform”) that allows Members to search for information, create information, join groups, and message those groups. The services covered by this Privacy Policy are the Regroup Platform, related Regroup mobile and desktop applications, and the account registration, administration, billing, and support functions Regroup provides in connection with the Platform (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect from, and about, Members and Visitors who access or use the Services, and how we collect, use, maintain, protect, and disclose that information. It applies to information we collect through the Platform, including account registration and administration, and through email, text, and other electronic messages between you and the Services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to:
- Regroup’s public marketing website at regroup.com, which is addressed in Regroup’s separate Website Privacy Policy;
- personal information about the recipients and contacts that a Member uploads to the Platform in order to send notifications, which is addressed in Regroup’s Data Security, Retention and Communication Policy; or
- information collected offline, or by any third party, including any application or content that may link to or be accessible from the Services.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use the Services. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy, Regroup’s Platform Terms of Use, incorporated herein by reference, and the terms and conditions set forth in any Regroup registration or order form, whether you are a “Visitor” (which means that you access or use the Services but do not have a paid subscription with Regroup) or a “Member” (which means that you have a paid subscription with Regroup). The terms “User” and “you” refer to a Visitor or Member.
Regroup may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time, and such modification is effective upon posting by Regroup on the Website. Your continued use of the Services after Regroup makes changes is deemed acceptance of those changes, so please check this Privacy Policy periodically for updates.
1. Minors
The Services are intended for use by Members and their authorized administrators, and by Visitors who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from, or market directly to, individuals under 18 through Platform account registration. If you are under 18, do not register for or otherwise directly provide information to the Services on your own behalf.
Some Regroup Members use the Platform’s Public Alerting tools to let residents of a community self-register directly to receive public safety alerts. Because those individuals are enrolled by, or register at the direction of, a Regroup Member rather than through Regroup’s own account-registration process, our Members — not Regroup — determine who may be enrolled in or invited to use those tools, and are responsible for obtaining any consents, including parental or guardian consent, required by applicable law before enrolling or permitting the enrollment of a minor. Regroup does not independently verify the age of individuals who self-register through a Member’s public-facing registration tool; it is each Member’s responsibility to determine whether an age gate or parental-consent mechanism is appropriate for its use case and to implement one if so.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information in a manner inconsistent with this section, please contact us at support@regroup.com so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to delete the information.

5. International Data Transfers
Regroup is a U.S. company, and the personal data we process through the Services is generally stored and processed in the United States. Depending on where you are located, providing your personal data to us may involve a transfer of that data outside your home country, including to the United States.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom. Where we process personal data originating in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under applicable law, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and, for UK transfers, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum), to govern the transfer of that data outside the EEA or UK. These safeguards are incorporated into the Data Processing Agreement that Regroup enters into with customers whose agreements are governed by EU/EEA or UK data protection law. If you are located in the EEA or UK and are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority or, for UK residents, with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Canada. Regroup also processes personal data of individuals located in Canada, including Quebec. We take steps designed to ensure that personal data transferred from Canada receives a comparable level of protection to that required under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) and, where applicable, Quebec’s Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (“Law 25”). If you are located in Canada and are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy-related complaint, you may contact:
- the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (“OPC”), for complaints under PIPEDA; or
- the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (“CAI”), for complaints under Law 25, if you are a Quebec resident.
Data Processing Agreement. Regroup makes a Data Processing Agreement available to customers whose agreements are subject to EU/EEA or UK data protection law. That agreement sets out the terms under which Regroup processes personal data on the customer’s behalf, including the safeguards described above and a list of Regroup’s subprocessors. This Data Processing Agreement is made available to applicable customers upon request, rather than published on this website.
6. Data Retention Following Termination
Upon expiration or termination of a Member’s agreement with Regroup, personal information associated with that Member’s account is not automatically deleted or returned. That information remains in Regroup’s systems until the Member completes Regroup’s standard offboarding process or otherwise submits a written request for deletion, at which point Regroup will delete the information in accordance with that request, subject to the retention requirements below.
For Members subject to Clery Act reporting obligations, Regroup’s retention schedule for recipient/contact data and related reports is set out in the Data Security, Retention and Communication Policy, and is not shortened by this section except upon a Member’s written data-destruction request.
7. Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

If you do not wish to have your email address or contact information used by Regroup to promote our Services, you can opt out by emailing your request to support@regroup.com. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
If you delete your User Contributions from the Services, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Users. Proper access to and use of information provided through the Services, including User Contributions, is governed by our Terms of Use.
9. State Privacy Law Notices
Certain additional disclosure and opt-out rights available under some U.S. state privacy laws do not currently apply to the information covered by this Privacy Policy. If you have questions about how we handle your personal information, or would like to make a privacy-related request, you may still contact us using the information in Section 12 below, and we will respond as appropriate. We will update this section if our size or practices change in a way that triggers additional legal requirements.
10. Data Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of the Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the Services. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Services.
