Regroup Mass Notification, the leader in emergency and mass notification systems, has been named winner of Security Sales and Integrations (SSI) inaugural Awesome Applications Award for Fire/Life Safety solutions.
The SSI award is given to manufacturers and vendors whose electronic solutions assist organizations in solving logistic, security and safety needs while meeting a series of industry standards that result in client satisfaction. The award not only recognized technical capabilities but also aspects such as ease-of-use, valuable and seamless integrations, compliance requirements and high functionality.
According to Rodney Bosch, SSI Senior Editor, “A panel of experienced security industry professionals judged each entrant based on not only the technical merits and ease of installation of the product or technology solution, but also the ability of it to help integrators meet project bid, specification or design parameters; satisfy regulatory, compliance or code requirements; and deliver the highest level of system capabilities, features, functionality, user-friendliness, results and client satisfaction.,”
Regroup was awarded the top honor for its successful project application at North Orange County Community College District (NOCCCD) in Anaheim, California. Prior to implementing Regroup’s cloud-based platform, NOCCCD required seven different systems and multiple log-ins to reach their more than 61,000 students and approximately 2,500 staff members. NOCCCD now has the ability to rapidly send mass notifications to the entire campus via multiple communication channels — all from one, easy-to-use messaging interface.
“Regroup provided a solution that allowed us to eliminate our old systems and bring them into one system that could meet all of our needs, making communication much faster and easier for everyone,“ said Deborah Ludford, District Director of Information Services, North Orange County Community College District.
Joe DiPasquale, CEO of Regroup Mass Notification, commented, “ What makes Regroup especially unique is the ability to communicate with all of the District’s locations and users from one central communications hub. Our platform easily integrated with NOCCCD’s Banner SIS (student information system), as well as the District’s website and social media channels. Regroup was the only mass notification provider the District spoke with who was willing to work with them to develop an API for their unique messaging needs. “
