(Kirksville, MO)  The City of Kirksville, in collaboration with our community partners, would like to invite you to join us for a lake cleanup at Hazel Creek Lake! The cleanup will take place this Saturday, July 14, 2018, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Hazel Creek Lake’s South Boat Ramp on Hungry Hollow Road, 1.4 miles west of U.S. Highway 63 north of Kirksville!

Volunteers are asked to meet at the South Boat Ramp at 8:00 am. There will be a short presentation on the importance of maintaining our watersheds, like Hazel Creek Lake, making this event an educational service opportunity for local youth as well! Volunteers are asked to consider bringing a canoe or kayak to help with the cleanup. Free hot dogs and refreshments will be provided at Noon for all volunteers, while supplies last!

For more information, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 660.627.1485.
